In addition to being a writer, I am also an editor? I have been editing all sorts of documents for close to 20 years. Documents have included college essays, theses, and Ph.D. dissertations; resumes and cover letters; company blogs and RFPs; proposals, manuals, newsletters, website content, emails -- even one fiction novel.

The type of editing I do best is line editing -- looking for typos and at sentence structure, wording, and readability. I fix what's incorrect and tighten the content to make it flow. I also review the overall content and make sure all the parts are there -- from beginning to middle to end. In addition, I am excellent at formatting documents.

I am drawn to -- and most experienced in -- editing technical documents and non-fiction materials.
